This multi-generational family-run business is rooted in a deep passion for quality and innovation. Established in 1974, and steeped in tradition, we pride ourselves on our devotion to exceptional customer experiences, our dedication to remaining on the forefront of technology and process, and our commitment to superior craftsmanship.
We’ve found a unique opportunity to combine our understanding of the principles of process improvement and expertise in the industry to create efficiencies and streamline a once complex process. Whether for commercial spaces or residential homes, we work together with you from preliminary design to finished construction - all while driven by a common goal to produce timeless high-quality projects that will last a lifetime.

The Founders
Brett Rothamel
Principal
Brett Rothamel is a second-generation builder. He has spent his lifetime honing his craft, beginning with working alongside his father, Scott, and cascading into the impeccable full-service design and build projects he delivers today. After receiving his Bachelor of Science from Rutgers University, Brett went on to obtain his Master’s in Architecture from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and has been Principal at Rothamel Design Build since 2012. Projects include custom urban and suburban residences, commercial spaces, offices, bars/restaurants, and retail spaces. Brett also has expertise in all phases of real estate development.
Scott Rothamel
Managing Director
Scott Rothamel has over 40 years of vast experience building throughout Northern New Jersey. He is well-versed in both commercial and high-end residential construction and extremely knowledgeable in every phase of the development and construction process. Scott has been Managing Director at Rothamel Design Build since 2012. Projects include custom urban and suburban residences, commercial spaces, offices, bars/restaurants and retail spaces.
